Our story
It started with a dream and a lot of hard work
Before he ever sold a car, our founder, Arnaldo Bomnin, was a medical doctor in Cuba. In 1996 he came to the United States with very little and started over. He learned the car business from the ground up, and in 2010 he opened the first Bomnin dealership in Miami with 49 associates.
The lesson he brought from medicine still guides us today: take care of your people, and they will take care of your customers.

2010One dealership, 49 associates
Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland opens its doors in Miami.
2016 – 2019Growing with our community
Bomnin Chevrolet West Kendall opens in 2016, Bomnin Chevrolet Manassas brings us to Virginia in 2018, and Bomnin Cadillac Chevrolet Homestead celebrates its grand opening in 2019.
2020 – 2024New brands join the family
Bomnin Volvo Cars Dadeland and Bomnin Mitsubishi join in 2020, and Bomnin CDJRAF Doral in 2023. Volvo breaks ground on its new home in 2022 and opens it in 2024.
2025 – TodayFrom Miami to New York
Bomnin Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Nanuet brings us to New York in 2025. Today we are 10 dealerships and 17 franchises in three states, with more than 965 associates, still family-owned and operated.

Investing in the next generation
The Bomnin Family Endowed Business Scholarship
Created with the University of Miami Business School to honor the courage and sacrifice of first responders and members of the U.S. Armed Forces. The scholarship supports their descendants as they earn a business degree. It's the first University of Miami scholarship dedicated to honoring these heroes.
